‘Weird’ Travelers Are Being Caught With “Fraudulent” Visa Charges

Travelocity hotels in Colorado are under scrutiny after they were caught charging foreign tourists thousands of dollars for a room at a resort in the state.

According to an investigation by the Associated Press, the charges were made by a company called CancunHotels and Resorts.

Travelocity said in a statement that it was aware of the allegations and is “looking into the matter.”

Travelocity, a popular online travel destination, has had to shut down several sites because of the alleged fraud.

The company said in February that it has been “reviewing our operations” and will “make changes to the way we handle customer transactions” if needed.
