The Santa Barbara International Airport is currently closed due to an Ebola outbreak, and airport authorities have not given any details about the situation, according to airport spokeswoman Kristin Brown.
The Santa Barbara County Health Department says travelers should expect to encounter delays in the next several days due to the outbreak.
It says it’s too early to know if travelers will be able to board airplanes.
“There will be some restrictions on flights, but we are working to minimize the disruption to travelers,” the health department said in a statement.
Officials say the Santa Barbara Airport will be closed until further notice, and travelers should check with their airline or hotel.
