(AP) The owner of the popular resort resort in Mexico City says a hotel on the island of Siesta will open to guests from March 1 to the end of the month, bringing the resort to more than 100 million people.
The Siesta resort is one of the most popular and luxurious hotels in the world, with nearly 4 million rooms and a population of more than 12 million.
The resort is located in the town of Sintra, near Mexico City, which is about 70 miles (110 kilometers) south of Mexico City.
The Siesta is among the largest and most luxurious resorts in the Americas, with rooms averaging about 500 square feet.
The resort, located on the border with Cuba, was built in the 19th century by Spanish conquistadors and is owned by the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
It opened in 1926 and was renamed the Siesta.
It was built for about 1.2 million guests, including many wealthy Americans, including U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
It has an annual gross revenue of about $200 million, according to the Sintras official website.
The hotel is expected to be open to all Mexicans.
The company that operates the hotel says it will open the resort in the coming months to visitors from across the Americas and beyond.
In May, the resort closed its doors after nearly four years, with the resort’s last scheduled guests expected to arrive in September.
In an e-mail, Sintral’s hotelier, José Luis Guzman, wrote that the hotel is “a special and unique environment for us, and we look forward to the welcoming of guests.”
